M/Y Blue Fin

I was shocked when I saw what happened in the national park at Little Brother this evening in october 2017: there were around 11 liveaboards. A crew member of M/Y Blue Fin put the rubbish in a zodiac, drove away and came back after two minutes - without the rubbish. Then the rubbish came with the current to the boats. Disgusting! Did the crew really think, that nobody will notice it?!

I've been on a different liveaboard in Egypt from 12th - 19th of October - not on one of the blue o two fleet. But on one dive site (little brother) there was the boat "blue fin" next to us. In the evening we could see that one of the blue fin crew packed the zodiac full with blue rubbish plastic bags, drove for a minute far away from the boats and then came back without rubbish � unlucky the current brought all rubbish (food and a lot of plastic) back to the liveaboards!!!! At this dive site there are at the moment quite a lot if Longimanus (oceanic white tip sharks) and they all got crazy in the middle of the night with all the food and plastic at the surface! One shark got even trapped in one of the big blue plastic bags!!!! ��� that's absolutely a NO GO! in these days we heard about 2 Longimanus attacks - well.... I totally understand the sharks when boats like the blue fin throw their rubbish in the ocean - next to a dive site where many other boats are!!! Maybe it would help when the crew would get a proper briefing what they should do with rubbish!!!! Bring it back to the mainland - other boats do that as well!!!!! We were all shocked about that! So I WOULD NOT CHOOSE A COMPANY LIKE THAT! There are many other nice boats and they bring their rubbish back!
