Hello all,
after three days and six dives with the Proteus team the attributes professional, cool, relaxed, friendly, clean, well trained, helpful etc. came to my mind when searching for a Headline for my article. I just write in English so that our international diver friends can also understand it.
One thing I had to write here because it impressed me and I saw other behaviours in other countries: During a stop between two dives on the boat a plastic cup was blown in the sea. As it was out of reach our dive guide Jean immediately jumped into the sea to bring it back on board. Chapeau my dear ! Also the cigarette filters will be collected on board.
Further Information in a nutshell:
MUST do:
- enjoy your dives with nice and professional dive guides who show you the spots
- bring even a small torch to see all the nice things under the rocks and in the caves
- drink a cappuccino, Latte macchiato or something else when you visit Proteus Office, the Bar Baja is
right next to it -maybe you have the chance to invite CEO Marzia
--I failed
- if you like to rent a car go to Europcar and send Sabina my best regards
- go to Capo Testa during the strong north wind Mistral
SHOULD do:
- it might be helpful to bring a hoodie and gloves if you are freezing fast (cold currents)
- just bring a minimum of other than your dive Equipment; the boat and its containers are not big
- bring a USB stick to share videos or photos
- if there is time during the dives or in the office just ask the Team what else to do in Sardinia, they
told us to go to Capo Testa during the Mistral winds...it was awesome
Remember it is the Mediterranean sea, not Egypt, the Maledives etc. but you can see some nice unterwater worlds and creatures....
Best regards so far and have fun with the Proteus Team
Felix
