This year July 2010 we returned to Makadi Bay for a diving-vacation. After having received a fantastiv intro into diving last year (09) July/August, and making friends with some of the staff at the dive-center, we were looking very much forward to this years stay.
We were not disappointed! Peter took us on our check-dive and gave us the best guided underwater-tour of the house-reef one can imagine! From black corals over seaslugs to blue spotted rays, a very good first dive in Makadi!
We stayed mostly at the house-reef, and were never disappointed with the variety and beauty of sealife. Special for our trip this year was diving with a turtle, and seeing a giant morey swim and feed at around 6m!
The staff at the dive-center was always very helpful and easy to talk to. Good thing to have a Marine-Biologist at the site (Alex), she could always name the new and exciting (to us at least) fish we had seen.
All in all: We will definetely be back and are very much looking forward to seeing all again!
