Dive & Fun, Font de Sa Cala, Mallorca

I had two dives in one day at “Dive and Fun” divecenter, which I booked a day in advance. The first dive (witched) was the closest to the harbour. The water was a bit choppy, but you don’t feel it once you go below 5m. It was an interesting dive, saw a cuttlefish, and we dived through caves. My second dive was 15 minutes afterwards, which I found pretty cool: no need to take off your wet suit, just get a new tank. What I did not find cool was that for the second dive it was decided to go to exactly the same place. The explanation I got was the bad weather conditions, which would only allow for this local place. One could suspect that the group of snorkelers joining us was another reason for the place choice, and I was the only person doing two dives in a row that day. Needless to say that visiting the same (not exactly the most spectacular diving place) was a very frustrating experience. I don’t blame the diving guides that were with me on those two dives: I believe that the manager of the facility (Mike) is the one responsible for this unfortunate scheduling, whom I saw confirming the decision once one of the dive instructors realized that something went clearly wrong with planning. Mike appeared to me as not exactly the friendliest personality. Needless to say that he didn’t apologise for the incident. I hope he is different to more regular customers then me.
