Big Blue Diving, Khao Lak

2011 my wife and me spent our vacation in Khao Lak and she mentioned that there is a dive shop which was mentioned in a travel guide for Japanese (she is Japanese).
We were lucky that we met one member of this shop in the morning during breakfast in our hotel and talked to him afterwards. We were lucky that 2 spaces were available on the first boat to go out to the similan islands and so we decided to have our first diving experience. For me it was funny that the staff in the shop was surprised that I speak japanese (well, I admit I am German so it is quite rare I suppose).
Later that day we went to the shop to try on our wetsuits and some of the other gear which needed to be fitted. Our diveguide for the next day Eri helped us a lot.
The next morning the pick up was very punctual and we went to the boat where teh others were already waiting.
During the trip Eri explained the use of the gear, general signs, some things we were going to do and so on.
That day we had 2 dives which were very interesting for us beginners. According to Eri we did a good job for beginners.
I would recommend Big Blue as we felt safe and would always use Big Blue again. I hope that we have the chance to go there again soon.
The conclusion was that my wife and me decided to do our diving license and we are looking forward for new adventueres.
