There are situations and moments in life when you do the right things at the wrong time. Unfortunately, also diving.DE was not spared from such a situation during the pandemic.
diving.DE announces that the diving center diving.DE Rovinj, which was opened only last spring on the "Red Island", has to give up. Already the opening was not under a good star: Due to the Corona eruption in 2020 it had to be postponed several times. After more than a year of planning and reconstruction work, it should have started in April 2020, exactly at the peak of the first Corona wave.
A delayed opening in June was followed by a very short season before the governments of Austria and Germany again restricted travel. Thus, the dive center had to close again; well before the official end of the season.
The diving.DE shares in the dive center were taken over by Tauchturm Seiersberg from Austria. Already before the sale the owners were involved in the operation of the diving center and therefore not too much will change for all guests who have already booked for the time being.
Also this year all diving.DE guests will still enjoy the usual "diving.DE repeater special discount".
If you want to continue diving with diving.DE in Croatia, you can of course do so at any time at the first diving.DE dive center in Croatia which exists since the beginning of the 90s. Since the Easter weekend of this year the diving center diving.DE Cres of Jutta and Mario is open again.
