Advantages for a carefree diving vacation
As a diving destination, Cyprus is known above all for its impressive wrecks and varied diving sites along the south coast with excellent visibility. The 172-metre-long wreck of the Zenobia is one of the most spectacular wreck dives in the world and the new underwater sculpture park MUSAN near Ayia Napa also attracts divers from all over the world. Particularly warm water temperatures throughout the year favor a very long diving season in Cyprus and dive centers can be found all along the south coast of Cyprus; from Paralimni to Ayia Napa, Larnaca, Limassol, Pafos and beyond.
Regardless of the good conditions in and around the water, the island in the eastern Mediterranean offers further advantages for a carefree diving vacation. The journey time from German-speaking countries is relatively short at around 3 ½ hours and entry to Cyprus as an EU member is generally uncomplicated. The excellent general infrastructure with a very good road network makes a vacation on the island very pleasant, even with many excursions. And it is worth discovering the island: Byzantine monasteries in the mountains, ancient ruins by the sea or modern towns along the coast. Visitors to Cyprus are spoiled for choice among the many attractive excursion destinations. If you are looking for something more than diving.
More information about Cyprus is available at the BOOT 2024 in Düsseldorf. There the sun island is present on the joint stand of Taucher.Net with a booth 12/A31.32.
