Diving fair on Lake Constance celebrates anniversary
For many years, InterDive Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance has established itself as a successful German diving fair. Year after year, visitors from southern Germany, Switzerland and Austria are drawn to the Zeppelin city in September. The fair scores points with its low-priced admission, short distances and the informal and relaxed atmosphere in Hall B5. In 2022 there will be a trade fair anniversary: despite Corona, the InterDive has taken place every year to date and is now celebrating its 10th birthday. From 22 to 25 September, divers in Friedrichshafen will once again find a comprehensive range of products from numerous exhibitors from all over the world.
All important information about InterDive Friedrichshafen at a glance:
Arrival, info & prices: Extremely reasonable admission prices make InterDive a popular event for the whole family. With good transport connections and the ferry across Lake Constance, the fair is also easy to reach for visitors from Austria and Switzerland. A special feature for those arriving in their own cars: On Thursday and Friday, visitors can park for free. The car park itself is only a few metres away from the exhibition hall, so short distances are guaranteed.
Holiday advice & travel specials: On site, competent advisors will give individual insights into the world of diving and holidays: from fresh and cold water diving in Europe to classic diving safaris and distant destinations such as Raja Ampat, Maldives, Mexico, Indonesia and many more.
Numerous diving tour operators, including WeDive, Reisecenter Federsee, Aqua Active, Wirodive, Aquaventure, Waterworld and tourmare offer attractive travel specials. With many providers, trips can also be booked directly at the fair.
In addition, some tourist offices will be at InterDive to provide comprehensive information about the holiday destination. For example, The Islands of Tahiti will present itself at the tenth anniversary edition, represented by the Tahiti Tourism Board and the popular diving centre Top Dive. The island republic of Malta will be on site with its representative VisitMalta and will provide the best advice for your next diving holiday.
Ocean protection: Non-profit organisations that work to protect the oceans will be guests at the fair. Among others, Sharkprojekt and Sea Sheperd will inform visitors about their environmental protection measures and campaigns. The fascinating exhibition 'TheFinArts' will be at Interdive for the second time and will show new great shark artworks for a good cause.
Stage programme & Nightdive party: The centrepiece of InterDive has always been the varied supporting programme. Every hour, product presentations and expert lectures on numerous topics and diving trips alternate on the large show stage. The highlight of the fair is the traditional diving party with live music on Friday evening.
Diving equipment and more: at InterDive everyone will find what they are looking for for their sport - whether masks and fins, a customised dry suit or the latest generation of dive computers. Dive shops and the who's who of manufacturers, including Cressi, Mares, Kallweit and Waterproof, will be there.
Auctions for a good cause: Visitors can grab great bargains at the popular charity auctions in aid of marine conservation organisations. Numerous exhibitors have donated great material and travel prizes that will be auctioned on stage.
INTERBOOT: In 2022, InterDive will again be held on all four days of the fair at the same time as INTERBOOT. Combination tickets will allow visitors to attend both fairs.
Diver training: The major diving associations - including SSI, VDST, PADI, DIWA, TDI - will present their offerings with comprehensive information on diving education and training.
Competition for diving clubs and associations: Diving clubs can boost their club funds by visiting InterDive. All clubs that appear at the fair together in their club outfit and have their photo taken together at the VDST stand can win a grant for their club's funds. The club with the longest journey and the club with the most members can win.
