I have just returned from a week´s vacation in Bayahibe and the highlight of my trip has to be diving with Scubafun. The staff are absolutely top-notch. Special mention must go to Ingrid who runs the shop like clock-work. When I first made my enquiries over a month ago, she answered all my e-mails promptly and with all the info I needed. She also arranged all my daily transfers from hotel to the dive shop and made sure I went to different dive sites everyday. John, the boss, is a real character .
The instructors/guides, Richard & Melki, are so friendly & helpful, they really want to make sure you have a great time. The boats are excellent and the crew even better! On 2 occasions I had the boat and Richard (who is a sweetheart) all to myself - I was spoilt!
Although I brought my own gear, I did notice that their rental equipment were in excellent condition and they took care to ensure that everything fits properly. They also took care of all my gear after every trip - washing and drying them, and making sure they were on the boat every morning - I didn´t have to lift a finger!
I can´t recommend them enough - thanks once again Ingrid, John, Richard, Melki and the staff at Scubafun.
