Manta Diving Center, Fortaleza (Inaktiv)

Fortaleza is not famous for its diving. The dive sites are a long way out of the coast (more than an hour). And because of the rough sea the boattrip is uncomfortable. The people at Manta diving center warn you about this and advise you to take a seasickness pill if you get seasick easily. And indeed, the time I went half of the people on board got seasick. I didn´t take a pill and didn´t get sick either, but the trip was no fun.

The diving is okay. Once you´re in the water the hardship is behind you and you can enjoy the dives. Because of the long trip they always make two dives. The underwaterworld of Fortaleza is allright. Not spectacular but you can have nice dives. On my trip I saw sharks and rays.

Manta diving center is okay. Nice and professional people. They speak good english. Their equipment is good.

My ´bewertung´ would be higher if the trip to the divesites was shorter and/or more relaxed.
