Best Dive-Center in Samui
After living an working as a dive-instructor on Samui for the last 4 years, let me assure you that this is the company you should choose. Working for them and for most of the other companies; I know what I’m talking about.
Let me tell you why:
- First of all: They conduct courses from Discover Scuba Diving all the way up to Instructor. Ok, some other dive-schools may have the same offer, but the difference is, that Marita; the most experienced course-director on Samui; also the co-owner; is personally in charge of all the divemaster- and instructor trainees. She prepares you in the best and most professional way for your life as a dive professional. And for all the non-professional courses and fundives, they employ instructors speaking almost every common language.
- Second: Most of the staff working here, have been on Samui for quite a while. They don’t change their staff every couple of months. And of course safety is everybody’s priority. They even have a dive-professional being boatmaster on every trip; someone who could help in case of an emergency; not just a local boatboy, like other divecenters.
- Third: Drivers, cars, boat, office-staff, captain, boat-girl, aso, is EasyDivers. They don’t hire other companies or boats, to do parts of the ’’job’’. This means, they control every aspect of the trip/course, resulting in better organisation, more flexibility and they do not rely on external companies like many others do.
- Fourth: If you are an experienced diver, or an absolute beginner, ask yourself: Do i want to sit on a small, noisy uncomfortable, crowded speedboat? Or do i want to have a good time, talking to other divers, snorkelers or my instructor, without having to shout while on the way to and from the divesite? As you are on holiday, and not in a hurry, believe me, that’s what you want. Isn’t this exchange of experiences, meeting interesting people, discussing the dives,… a big part of a diving-day???
- Fifth: The divesites they offer, are the best you find in the Gulf of Thailand in my opinion. Forget about the other fancy divesites all around Koh Tao. Except Chumphon Pinnacle which is just too far away for their big boat. All the best sites are within reach.
- And last but not least: The atmosphere on the boat is just great. You have enough space to sit. There is a sundeck. They have delicious food and there’s also enough beer for the way back Everything you need for an enjoyable day out on a boat.
Now, back in Europe, thinking about my time on this beautiful island, the major thing that comes to my mind is the memories i made on the Seastar and with the EasyDivers crew.
Long story short: If you dive from Samui, go with EasyDivers and enjoy a nice day on- and underwater.
