African Dive Adventures is an excellent dive operator. When you go out to sea with owner Roland and dive master Carl you will have a good time. After many years of diving on Protea Banks they still enjoy what they are doing very much. And they really like to share their passion with their guests.
I dived with them during nine days in July 2011 and is was fantastic! The briefings were very good and on every dive we saw sharks (tigers, blacktips, dusky´s and bullsharks).If you are an advanced diver and interested in seeing big stuff, Protea Banks is the place to go. On every boat trip to the reef we saw lots of humpback whales and Roland and Carl did their best to get close to them for a good view.
You can also do baited shark dives with African Dive Adventures. Roland and Carl attract the sharks with small pieces of sardine and after a while they come very close. BEAUTIFUL!
