While looking for information about MS Stingray I found this forum and I decided to put my comments as well. 
Maybe they will help you to decide to visit them, what I truly recommend.
I was on Stingray 2 times - last time in the second half of March 2013, for the 2-weeks safari. It was a real pleasure to visit them again.
The boat is comfortable, even for so long and intensive dive safari. It´s clean and the crew takes care of tidiness twice a day. The cuisine is delicious and you´ll never feel hungry. There is a free tea/coffee/water available all the time - and, of course, a bar at your service - unfortunately not free of charge. They work till the last guest - even if that means very late in the night. Some guests were complaining a little about the noise caused by the generator in the night, but frankly speaking I preferred to have the light and air conditioning working all the time for the price of some additional dBs. IMHO it wasn´t so bad.
The crew, both on live boat and on the dhooni, is very friendly and helpful. I had problems with air conditioning system in my room at the beginning of the stay and I asked for help. They´ve started to take care about that at once. Despite initial problems with recognizing the reason of the damage they´ve managed to fix it in the open sea Chapeaux bas!
Dive guides - there were 3 guys for our 16 people´s group - are experienced and know diving places very well. They know where are best spots for hammerheads, whale sharks or mantas. They don´t push you to dive with them and only with them - if you want, you can also decide to go on your own. But if you follow them, they can show you a lot of rare small stuff you´d probably miss under the water, especially when you´re not very experienced diver, like frog fishes, ribbon ills, etc. And the most important thing - the guides actively adapt to the situation under the water: if, let´s say, the current goes in an opposite direction, than assumed during the briefing, they know how to make the dive still interesting and exciting.
During the trip we´ve also had an opportunity to visit few local islands. Although it wasn´t included in the schedule, we wanted to see everyday´s life on Maldives. Something completely different from Male, the capital, and the tourist resorts we usually think of. The crew organized a bus for all the guests willing to go and they guided us throughout the Foamula Island. In few other places we´ve had a chance to see the places on our owns. Very good idea for those who are expecting to have more insight about this beautiful country.
All mentioned above (and many more not mentioned) makes me feel satisfied and happy with the time I´ve spent on Stingray. See you, guys, again there. I´m looking forward to it!
