Eigentlich hätte diese Tour im Jahr 2020 stattfinden sollen, Corona machte dies aber nicht möglich. Aggressor sagte die Tour ab. Ich konnte dann alles um ein Jahr verschieben. Was ja eigentlich ganz gut war. Corona begleitet die ganze Welt nach wie vor. Je nach Land und Region mehr oder weniger stark. Costa Rica ist bis heute immer noch sehr stark betroffen.
Und genau darum finde ich es nicht gut, wie Aggressor damit umgeht. Aber eins nach dem Anderen.
Zum Boot: Das Boot ist vermutlich ein alter umgebauter Fischkutter. Die Kabinen sind teilweise sehr klein. Da hatte ich eine Kabine für 2 Personen für 10 Tage, die so was von klein war, gerade mal 4-4,5 m2.
Es hat nicht einmal einen Kasten für die Kleider (Man könne die Kleider ja auf den Boden unter dem Bett legen.....hahaha, wo sind wir denn da?) Jeder, der die Kabine sah, war geschockt.
Jede Gefängniszelle bietet mehr.

Ein erholsamer Schlaf war auf so engem Raum nicht möglich, weil man sich irgendwo immer anstiess, dabei wäre der ja wichtig. (Sonst schlafe ich immer gut auf einem Boot, es schaukelt ja so schön....)
Der Preis ist sehr hoch und sehr stolz und kommt auf 5‘500 USD oder mehr, ja nach Kabine. Wohlverstanden, da sind keine Anfahrt/Flugkosten etc. dabei. Nur das Boot, Verpflegung und Tauchen. Aggressor zockt richtig ab. Mit den Bildern auf der Webseite wird man beschissen. Weitwinkel Aufnahmen.
Ausserdem sind die Kabinen feucht; das heisst, alles inkl. Kleider wird feucht.
Und wenn die Klimaanlage aus ist, zieht es trotzdem immer von irgendwoher.
Es ist mir klar, dass es für solche Touren (40 h Hinfahrt/33h Rückfahrt) starke Motoren braucht, aber das Wohl und die Gesundheit der Gäste darf nicht auf der Strecke bleiben.
Dann kommt nun aber der Hammer. Alle Gäste müssen einen neg. COVID-19 Test mitbringen, sonst dürfen sie nicht aufs Boot. Dies wurde bei den Gästen zweimal kontrolliert. Die Besatzung wäre auch negativ heisst es. Wenn das stimmt. Diese Testergebnisse wurden nicht gezeigt. Da gilt einfach, vertrau darauf, dass dies der Wahrheit entspricht.
Ausserdem ist das Boot alt und nur oberflächlich gereinigt. In den Fugen und Kanten und Ecken sitzen “Bösewichter" wie Viren und Bakterien. Das heisst, man bringt dies nur durch regelmässiges und gründliches Putzen weg, Desinfizieren gehört gerade in Zeiten von COVID-19 ebenso dazu, ist aber, wenn man es richtig machen will, sehr teuer!.
Aggressor Boote fahren auf der ganzen Welt, COVID-19 ist auch überall auf der Welt und die Reinigung, davon gehe ich aus, wird überall gleich gehandhabt. Denn diese Order kommt "von ganz oben"!
Das Tauchen war auch nicht das, was ich unter Tauchen verstehe. Vom Zodiac ins Wasser und wegen der Strömung oder Brandung sich dann irgendwie an den Felsen festhalten und auf die Haie warten….das wars dann.
Da kenne ich für weniger Geld andere Sachen und deutlich Besseres. Sogar ein einfaches Boot, dass von Hamata ausfuhr, hatte mehr Platz. Auch das Boot von Werner Lau auf den Malediven war bescheiden, dennoch mit mehr Platz. Auch andere Anbieter wie Golden Dolphins oder Extra Divers bieten mehr
Das ist definitiv die schlechteste Erfahrung. Das schlechteste Boot, auf dem ich je war.
Und wie schon erwähnt, alt und dreckig! Oberflächlich sauber und nur das. Warum gab es dann nach der Tour von 22 Gästen mind 7 mit einem positiven Covid-19 Test, dies hiess dann noch unfreiwillige Quarantäne in San Jose von 10 Tagen. Aggressor kümmert sich nicht weiter um die Gäste, es ist für sie Genüge getan, die Gäste diesbezüglich zu informieren, weitere Nachfragen nach dem Befinden, was eigentlich wünschenswert und üblich ist, blieben aus.
Es nützt auch nichts, wenn die Crew und alle sehr nett sind! Das hebt es nicht auf. Die Küche war OK aber auch nicht speziell hervorzuheben.
Für mich gilt ganz sicher, 3x Aggressor, das Erste Mal, das Letzte Mal und das Einzige Mal, also NIE WIEDER!
Das wird die allerdings nicht interessieren. Die sind da zu hochnässig und von sich selbst überzogen.
Umso mehr ist es mir ein Anliegen, dieses Erlebnis zu veröffentlichen.
Ein Rat an alle, die mit Aggressor unterwegs sein wollen, gleiches Recht und gleiche Pflichten, und so gilt doch auch, Vertrauen ist Gut, Kontrolle ist besser, darum lasst euch die Tests der Crew zeigen!

Actually, this tour should have taken place in 2020, but Corona did not make this possible. Aggressor canceled the tour. So everything was postponed for a year for the health safety of everyone. Unfortunately, Corona continues to wreck havoc to the whole world. More or less strong depending on the country and region. Costa Rica is still very badly affected to this day and that's why I don't like the way the aggressor deals with it. My experience is shared thus;
About the boat: The boat is probably an old converted fishing trawler. Some of the cabins are very small. I had a cabin for 2 people for 10 days, which was so small, just 4 - 4.5 m2. It doesn't even have a box for the clothes (you can only put the clothes on the floor under the bed ..... hahaha, it was that bad!). Everyone who saw the cabin was shocked. Even a prison cell offers more. A restful sleep was not possible in such a confined space because you always bumped into something, which would be important. (Otherwise I always sleep well on a boat, it rocks so nicely ...)

Also, the cabins are damp; that means everything, including clothes, gets damp.
And when the air conditioning is off, it still always draws from somewhere.
It is clear to me that tours like this (40 hours there / 33 hours return) need powerful engines, but the well-being and health of the guests must not be left behind.
In addition, the boat is old and only superficially cleaned. "Bad guys" like viruses and bacteria sit in the joints, edges and corners. This means that you can only get rid of this with regular and thorough cleaning, disinfecting is just as important in times of COVID-19, but such cleaning and disinfection is very expensive!
Aggressor boats travel all over the world, COVID-19 is also all over the world and cleaning, I assume, is handled the same everywhere. Because this order comes "from the very top".
The price is very high, coming in at $ 5,500 or more, depending on the cabin. Understood, there are no travel / flight costs etc. included. Just the boat, food and diving. The aggressor is really ripping off. The pictures on the website is a wide angle shots that makes you believe it is real.
But then comes the hammer. All guests must bring a negative COVID-19 test with them, otherwise they are not allowed on the boat. This was checked twice on the guests. Accordint to the Aggressor, the crew would also be negative but these test results were not shown. The simple rule is, we must trust that this is true.
Diving wasn't what I mean by diving either. From the zodiac into the water and because of the current or surf then somehow hold on to the rocks and wait for the sharks ... that's it then.
I know other things and much better things for less money. Even a simple boat leaving from Hamata had more space. Werner Lau's boat in the Maldives was also modest, but with more space. Other providers such as Golden Dolphins or Extra Divers also offer more
This is definitely the worst experience. Worst boat I've ever been on.
Considering the fact that the boat is old, dirty and superficially. It’s no surprise that there were (at least ) 7 guests out of 22 that were covid-19 positive after the tour. This was then called an involuntary quarantine in San Jose for 10 days. Aggressor does not care about the guests, it is enough for them to inform the guests about this, and there were no further inquiries about what is actually desirable and common.
It is also of no use to them if the crew and everyone are very nice. That doesn't cancel it. The kitchen was OK but not particularly to be highlighted.
For me it is definitely true: 3x aggressor, the first time, the last time and that Only time, so NEVER AGAIN!
They won't be interested in that though. They are too arrogant and full of themselves.
It is all the more important to me to publish this experience.
A piece of advice to everyone who wants to be on the road with the Aggressor, the same rights and the same duties, and this also applies: trust is good, control is better, so let the crew show you the tests!
