Bumbayaya GmbH continues innovation in underwater video and photography
UWACAM was unveiled in January 2025 at boot in Düsseldorf. Since then, the software has earned an excellent reputation in the Apple App Store: it currently has an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
A major update has just been released with version 2.0, which includes innovative UWACOLOR processing for colour enhancement and Vizalyzer AI for identifying fish/marine life and much more.
Optimised for DIVEVOLK (divevolkdiving.com) Seatouch housings and developed in collaboration with award-winning underwater filmmaker Matthias Lebo (matthiaslebo.com), UWACAM is designed to be user-friendly and features large, clear controls that allow underwater photographers to effortlessly capture stunning images of their underwater adventures.
The new UWACOLOR processing brings the beauty of the oceans to life with vibrant colours without the need for additional lighting or filters.
UWACOLOR processing can be applied in real time during video or photo capture or later directly in the UWACAM app for maximum flexibility.
Vizalyzer AI recognition of ocean life forms provides interesting and valuable information for video and photo shoots – divers and snorkelers can immediately browse through their shots when they surface and expand their understanding of life in the ocean.
Like UWACAM, Vizalyzer AI is available in five languages (English, German, French, Italian and Spanish).
UWACAM simplifies underwater photography with an intuitive user interface that is perfectly suited for underwater use. The app offers precise control and delivers impressive results for both hobby divers and professionals.
