InterDive to be a new attraction at Stuttgart's CMT and Hamburg's Reisen & Caravaning
Growth for the portfolio of holiday trade fairs in Stuttgart and Hamburg. From next January, "InterDive", the international diving, snorkelling and travel trade fair, will be presented as part of the two holiday fairs. Organiser Walter Harscher expects this step to generate new impulses and, above all, a broader audience for the "hot spot" around the diving tourism market. In addition to Stuttgart (19 to 22 January), InterDive will also fly the flag next year at the tourism trade fair Reisen & Caravaning Hamburg (8 to 12 February).
"InterDive offers the opportunity to get information about diving in a personal conversation and in a familiar atmosphere," confirms InterDive trade fair initiator Walter Harscher. "The first consideration was that we can specifically address our target groups within the framework of the Stuttgart holiday trade fair and take advantage of its benefits, for example with regard to the trade fair site," Harscher explains the reasons for the cooperation. In addition, the exhibitors would get the chance not only to address the familiar clientele, but also to interest other trade fair visitors in diving and thus gain new customers. And finally, the combination with the trade fair association fits perfectly because "the visitors to InterDive are multi-sport enthusiasts who are also enthusiastic about other subject areas." Through the integration, Harscher wants to make InterDive even more interesting - both for visitors and exhibitors, "in addition, the different trade fair locations are a big plus, because it brings us close to divers all over Germany."
The CMT 2023
CMT, the world's largest public trade fair for tourism and caravanning, will be held at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from 14 to 22 January 2023. The holiday trade fair will be complemented by its subsidiaries Bicycle and Hiking Travel, Golf and Wellness Travel and Cruise and Ship Travel. Bicycle and Hiking Travel will be extended to run for three days for the first time and will include the first CMT weekend as well as Monday (14 to 16 January). Premiere for the international diving fair "InterDive", which will take place on the second weekend (20 to 23 January). In the caravanning area, more than 1000 vehicles of all well-known brands and manufacturers await visitors. Opening hours are from 9 am (admission) to 6 pm, with entry to the exhibition halls from 10 am.

oohh! The FreizeitWelten Hamburg 2023
From 8 to 12 February 2023, eight trade fairs will be held in Hamburg that focus on travel and holidays. These include REISEN Hamburg, CARAVANING Hamburg, RAD Hamburg, KREUZFAHRTWELT Hamburg, FOTOHAVEN Hamburg and, as premieres, GenussReise, the diving and snorkelling fair InterDive and the Hamburger Motorradtage. The anticipation of the events taking place under the umbrella of oohh! Die FreizeitWelten is great. This is shown by recent studies on the leisure behaviour of Germans, such as the Forschungsgemeinschaft Urlaub und Reisen (Research Association for Holidays and Travel) or the Stiftung für Zukunftsfragen (Foundation for Future Studies). "The desire to travel continues unabated and is higher than ever, especially after years of corona-induced renunciation," says Alexander Ege, Director of Trade Fairs & Events and responsible for Messe Stuttgart's holiday trade fairs.
