A drone for underwater activities

Normally, we only know drones from looking up at the sky. In all different sizes and colors, they have become a part of our world in recent years. Whether to take pictures or to search for people or animals, drones are used very versatile today.

Meanwhile, there are these drones not only above water. The Seasam Autonomous is a compact underwater drone that allows multiple wireless underwater operations in a compact format. It is capable of tracking targets as well as performing autonomous tasks, such as fully automated hull inspections. Obstacles such as divers are also no problem for the Seasam Autonomous, which automatically detects and navigates around them.

It is especially useful for divers, diving schools, boatyards, but above all, for the maritime police, construction companies for underwater inspections, for checking dam walls, cable laying and other underwater constructions, or for anyone who needs to search or document something underwater.

The settings of the underwater drone can be configured individually to expand its capabilities. In addition to depth control and speed, there are sensors such as underwater GPS, 3D sonar, and thickness gauges that can also be integrated.

As with normal drones, the Seasam Autonomous is powered by propellers. 7 pieces help to guarantee the drone an extremely high stability underwater.

Whether in currents or calm water, the Seasam can easily maintain its position and move sideways, tilt up or down, or even rotate smoothly. It reaches a maximum speed of up to 1.25 meters per second.

Due to the built-in technology, it is possible to detect distances and move accordingly. This is especially helpful when it comes to underwater inspections.

Through a diver monitoring mode, it is possible to track a diver and send direct video feedback to the surface via a thin cable.
With this diver monitoring mode, direct third party insight into underwater operations is possible. This is especially interesting for diving schools.

For industrial use, features like a longer battery life, an additional light, a longer line or a buoy have been included.

The integrated Notilo Cloud, is the personal database where mission logs, videos and images captured by the underwater drone if you want - are automatically stored.
