Modular BCD with Monorail weight system, quick‑dry wing and ergonomic harness — ideal for travel and versatile diving profiles
The Hydros Pro 2 is a back‑inflation buoyancy control device crafted to combine comfort, adaptability and travel‑friendly convenience for divers operating across a wide range of conditions. Its harness uses a mouldable Monprene gel construction that conforms to the diver’s body, reducing pressure points and offering a secure fit during prolonged dives or repetitive use. The harness material is resistant to UV, chemicals and abrasion, and dries quickly after the dive, reducing water retention and post‑dive weight.
A key upgrade is the new Monorail Weight System: weights mount on a rail using a slide‑and‑lock mechanism for single‑handed insertion and release, enabling safe, quick weight changes and easy ditching. Mini or standard‑size weights allow adaptation to warm or cold water conditions.
The backplate has been lightened (Ergo‑Lite), improving portability and comfort on land, while the quick‑dry, abrasion‑resistant bladder and streamlined profile suit travellers and frequent divers. A Super Cinch 2 tank band helps secure cylinders reliably.
Underwater, the tri‑bungee retraction system and cross‑flow air channels keep the wing compact when submerged but deliver high surface lift. Ergonomic dump valves and a balanced-power inflator provide intuitive buoyancy control.
Modular design allows components — weight pockets, straps, pockets and attachments — to be added or replaced without stitching, extending service life and enabling custom configuration. The BCD suits recreational, travel, sidemount or technical diving depending on configuration.
