After being cut off from the rest of the world since April 2020, except for emergency transportation, Palau's borders are now slowly opening. Since April 2021 China Airlines flies again to Koror, but only for Taiwanese nationals, as part of a Taiwan - Palau Travel Bubble.

Since the beginning of June, United Airlines now flies from Guam to Palau, connecting the USA and all those who want to travel to Palau via Japan, the Philippines or Korea.

In June there were only 2 flights available in total, in July 2021 it will be one flight per week and we expect United Airlines to resume daily service to Palau in August.

For all travelers who can't wait to finally dive Palau again, please note that special entry requirements are in effect. Travelers must be fully vaccinated and send proof of testing to local authorities 72 hours prior to arrival. Finally, it should be noted that Palau has not had a single Covid-19 case and as of June 15, 2021, approximately 96% of the adult population is vaccinated, which is approximately 73% of the total population.

Fish 'n Fins and Ocean Hunter Safaris have each received a "Covid-19 Pandemic Certificate" from local authorities after testing. 100% of all Fish 'n Fins and Ocean Hunter Safaris staff are vaccinated and look forward to your visit.
