New diving.DE dive center in Hotel Mimosa at Maslinica Beach
In May 2022 diving.DE will open a new dive center in Istria. The two owners of the diving.DE diving center Weissensee, Mimi and Basti, together with their friend Pauli, are fulfilling a long-awaited dream. A dive-center at the med-sea.
The new diving center "Diving Rabac" is located in the 4* Hotel Mimosa at Maslinica Beach in the picturesque village of Rabac, a former fishing village not far from Labin on the east coast of Istria. Hotel Mimosa, together with the two neighboring 4* hotels Hedera and Narcis and the campsite Oliva, is part of the Maslinica Resort and extends over the entire bay. With the adjoining apartments, any accommodation requirements are thus fulfilled.
The new diving center offers shore dives as well as boat trips to the surrounding dive sites. The great house reef Girandella is only a few minutes away from the hotel with the base's own shuttle and is located in a kind of protected sea zone, which makes it an absolute fishing paradise.
In addition to the house reef, highlights include the unique wreck Lina off the island of Cres, which can be reached in just 20-30 minutes, as well as the famous rock gate that can be dived in 15- and 30-meters depth through two impressive passages in the rocks.
As a special opening special for 2022, everyone who has been diving at Diving Rabac or Diving Cres will get a FREE "rinse dive" at the house reef of Diving Weissensee in Carinthia - the perfect stop on the way home from Croatia.
