Movie night with Dr Florian Huber & PADI
An evening full of discoveries, emotions and the magic of the sea at Cineplex Baunatal: Taucher Nordhessen is delighted to announce an extraordinary event: Together with Cineplex Baunatal and under the patronage of PADI, we invite you to a cinema night entitled ‘Secrets of the Deep’.
On Thursday, 4 December 2025, visitors can look forward to a fascinating evening with renowned underwater archaeologist Dr Florian Huber. Known from programmes such as Terra X, Dr. Huber will take the audience on an exciting journey into the depths of our oceans. He will report on spectacular wreck finds in the Baltic Sea, impressive expeditions to the South Seas and provide insights into the mystical cenotes of Mexico. His experiences and research findings will be accompanied by fascinating video clips that are rarely seen on the big screen.
Following his lecture, Dr. Huber will be available for questions and discussions. Take advantage of this opportunity to engage in direct exchange with one of the leading experts in underwater archaeology.
Keynote speech by Sascha Engeler (PADI)
Sascha Engeler, Territory Director EMEA at PADI, will be there live as a special guest. In his inspiring keynote speech, he will provide insights into the future of diving, international projects for the protection of our oceans and the importance of diving training in changing times. An impulse that impressively underlines the social relevance of diving.
