Water sports fair Düsseldorf postponed to April
December 3, 2020, Düsseldorf: As just announced by the project management of boot, Düsseldorf, the date of the fair has been moved from January to April. Thus, the boot fair will take place in 2021 from April 17th to 25th.
The organizers of boot are taking the developments of the Corona Pandemic into account and do not see any possibility to organize a good fair for exhibitors and visitors with an extended (also partial) lockdown until at least January 10th.
Currently all exhibitors will be provided with the new information. A further evaluation of the new date will probably take place at the end of January/February.
The original message from boot Düsseldorf management: "boot Düsseldorf 2021 will be held from 17. to 25.April. The original dates from 23 to 31 January could not be used due to the ongoing high infection numbers across all of Europe. Messe Düsseldorf has postponed boot after close consultation with its partners and exhibitors who endorse this decision and have opted in favour of the new dates. Announcing the new dates early on Messe Düsseldorf also gives exhibitors planning security for preparing their trade fair participation and transporting their boats and yachts." More information will follow as soon as it is available.
The website of boot still shows the original January date. There will be an update in the course of the day.
