Thousand Island / Putri Island, bei Jakarta

The so called: ´ soft corral 1 & 2 ´ dive spots were terrible. Because, some years ago, it was popular to use dynamite for fishing in the region. First time in my live I was diving like ´ on the moon ´ ! All dead down there. Almost no fishes and if very small reef fishes ONLY. Visibility on that day was poor, only 3-5 meter as a max. Before we started to our second dive that day (from the boat) we saw some guys in their boat crossing our way to the second spot, and their boat was full with fresh stolen corrals !! Putri Island hat im Vergleich mit Kotok Island (siehe den Bericht von
2007) wesentlich mehr zu bieten. Die Fahrt im Speedboot dauert
gleichfalls ca. 2 Std. von Jakarta aus. Die Bungalows sind sehr viel
besser ausgestattet als auf Kotok, es gibt einen Swimmingpool und
Restaurant und das Essen sind wesentlich besser und hygienischer
bereitgestellt. Des weiteren hat man einige große Aquarien unter anderem
mit Haien und Rochen und einen Unterwassertunnel und ein Glasbodenboot.
