Jeddah Dream Beach

Das Dream Beach Resort ist ein privates Strandresort im Norden von Jeddah, im Obhur Distrikt. Für einen Preis von 100 Rial bekommt man einen Tagespass für das Resort. Im Tauchshop des Resorts bekommt man DIN/INT-Flaschen für 25 Rial, und auch sonstige notwendige Mietausrüstung, alles in gutem Zustand.
Über einen etwa 100 m langen Steg geht es raus zu einer überdachten Plattform, wo man sich fertig macht. Ein Süßwasseranschluss zum waschen der Ausrüstung nach dem Tauchen gibt es auch. Der Einstieg erfolgt über eine kurze Treppe, direkt ins Riff. Das Riff erstreckt sich nach beiden Seiten, wobei es nach Süden etwas weiter reicht, und bis zu einer Tiefe von etwa 30 Metern.
Das Riff ist in einem tollen Zustand, es gibt jede Menge Fische und anderes zu sehen. Auf jeden Fall einer der schönsten Landtauchgänge rund um Jeddah.

Clean, small shop and small restaurant for food, but only on the weekend.
A lot of young saudis are on the beach.
Diveshop on the beach for tanks-one tank 25 Saudi Rial.
You may also buy or rent all necessary equipment at the shop.
Rental equipment is in good shape.

Diving is form a pier, that goes about 70 meters from the beach into the water.
There you may gear up under a roof for shadow.

Riff with a lot of corals and wildlife. Down at a deepth of 25-40 feet there is a plateau with a lot of coral towers.
From 40 feet down to 100 feet there is a great coral wall.
You see all sort of corals and local wildlife.
At this reef there are also some tortoises.
Below 100 feet you only see sand.

There is a lot of techdivers at the beach.

Sadly right below the pier there is a open area (balut 10 to 10 Meters)only with dead corals where the open water courses doing there skill training on on a plattform but on the bottom.

Posibility for nightdiving all night long with lights on the pier.
