Being with The Ark Divers is taking a part of Audrey and Mike’s dream fulfilled. The story of how this lovely couple realized their wonderfully built eco lodge in the remote village is awe-inspiring and extraordinary. Make sure you listen when they share and show pictures of how it all came about.
Mike from Germany provides the best rental gear I have ever dived with. Within half an hour boat ride we reached the waters of National Park Coiba Islands and met with white tip and black tip reef sharks, bull sharks, turtles, barracudas, impressive walls of fan corrals and more. Personally, I will never forget “flying” side by side with a school of over 50 sting rays.
During three days of diving, we met other divers only once for surface & lunch break on a sandy beach. Other than that: our party of six, the captain with assistant and mother nature. The Pacific can be a force of its own, but I never felt anything but comfortable and save with Mike and his crew.
Same goes for Audrey, originally from Canada. She is prepping delightful breakfast, healthy snack options for lunch and puts all her heart into dinners meeting your dietary needs. Although you spend time in a remote area of the rain forest, they planned the three cabanas and the main house in such a smart way that it only adds to the wonderful holiday experience. Basic, stylish, and cozy with the luxury of the lush green impressively surrounding us. Audrey and Mike were super helpful in figuring out how to get there, we only had to hop on and off the means of transport we chose.
