as promised, here with comment on our fantastic trip.
Really just a huge thank you for the excellent trip that Linda and I, John and Glyn and Neil and Beth enjoyed on the Manta Queen. Memories were made that will never be forgotten. I have been in and around boats most of my life, my dad taught me to sail a dingy before I could even swim and I must say I was hugely impressed with the Manta Queen and how tidy and well maintained she was even at the end of a season when you expect paint to be shabby and things not working 100%. This is a very good reflection on the well organized and motivated crew one and all. Linda did not do one of the dives and she was so impressed at the way the crew cleaned and polished while all the divers were in the water.
We were all very impressed with the DM’s standard and how well they all worked together. 2 years ago we did a Red Sea trip and there was constant hassling between the DM’s as to who should go first and who would be on “their” team. Really we come to dive and relax not to be constantly chased to do this or that. Again I must say that Vicky was exceptional. Her business skills and people skills, seldom found together, were very very good and her way of handling any situation showed that she is a real gem to have on your team. John, my brother-in-law is the MD of a very large Architectural company and deals with people at all levels, and he commented on how well Vicky had a control of the team, and an excellent relationship with each one.
Also your team at the office were very good at ensuring all things were arranged on time and to everyone’s satisfaction. I did not hear any complaints from any on board about the organization and the way things were run. So really we had an absolute ball and thank you one and all for making it such a memorable trip for us.
Thanks again for all you help and organizing and I really hope our paths cross sometime again. If you or any of the DM’s ever come to SA please contact us, it would be our pleasure to show them around our country.
