Rosie in Similan...First I would like to say that ...
Rosie in Similan...
First I would like to say that the overall package was much more than expected. We choose ´Khao Lak Scuba´ as it was within our traveling budget and a wonderful surprise we got. You provided us with exactly what we wanted and more!
Manta Queen I was comfy and spacious. We had expected it to be a little more cramped. Sleeping maters were comfy and air con was great! There was an area of the boat for every mood, sunny, shady, quiet, sociable or totally flat out (in bed!)
You have a very talented boat crew and a skipper that can definitely handle a boat! They were wonderfully helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Dive staff were friendly and approachable with any queries. A big thanks to Dan as he chilled out presence makes a change from other Divemasters/Instructors who feel the need to talk loudly at you rather than to you.
The days were beautifully planned leaving plenty time to nap between dives which was great!
I am a British diver since 7 years and this is my first time to Thailand. The actual dives were exactly what I´d hoped and more. With the help of Dan and other staff members I saw things I´d only dreamed off so far in my diving life. Highlight for me would have to be the Tiger Tail Seahorse as I was starting to believe they only existed in books!
Other highlights would also be the reefs and the Marbel Octopus I saw over the 4 days!
All the other things are too much to list but all were equally and as magical...of course the Mantas were out of this world and seriously are from another planet. The Whale Sharks underwater at the Similan are saving me for another day so I´ll be sure to see them next time!
The food of course should be mentioned but only that fantastic doesn´t cover it. They were the best chips I´ve had in 6 months of traveling. How they cook such awesome food in such a small kitchen I´ll never know!
I will promote this trip on my return to the UK and also plan to write several small article of my experience in web sites such as Tauchenet. I think I know a lot of people who would love the simplicity and relaxed, yet professional organized nature of this live aboard. I feel your business card will feature on our recommended international pin board at my place of work.
I now feel I´ve said enough should stop waffling. From my point of view I have no negative points. I was delivered a superb service and I got everything I wanted from a live aboard experience and more!
THANK YOU DAN & EVERYONE ELSE FOR AN AWESOME 4 DAYS!
