For visitors, who only speak English:
For some month or years ago, I´ve learned to prefer the smaller dive centres.
And therefore I searched and found Gulf Divers (Dive Centre Hotel Beirut) in Hurghada. And it was the right decision.
- The team is great – they speak English, German, Arabic, France, Slowak, ..
- Safety first (they have O² and emergency-first-bags with medicaments on their boats, do a good whole briefing and are building nice buddy teams)
- Gulf Divers have a good organisation (by example in planning the dive trip; giving instructions for being safety on the boat; they will catch you from all hotels in Hurghada and will bring you back – without any extra costs for you, ..)
- Visiting the finest places round about Hurghada – and some days they will go to Abu Nuhas (nice wreck diving). News: Now they are offering divesafaris!
- Some days in month they will offer a third dive for free.
- They accept individual wishes (special dive places, more than two dives a day, ..) and are trying all to fulfil them. They are really great!
- They are offering great and safety diving with Egyptian prices.
- The boat trips are very nice, the team is very good and they cook like angels
The lunch and also one drink (non-alcoholic) is for free.
- If you want you could have very nice Aprés-Diving near the dive centre or at the evening in Hurghada (by example Quiz-Night at Papas II)
- Gulf Divers also do snorkeling trips with their dive boats in very good organisation.
- The boat crew will help you every time. The´ll catch your bottle if you came up to the boat after your dive.
- You could clean your equipment in a saltwater-FREE pool and you could use the dry room for your equipment after that.
- They usually use 12 and 15 litres bottles (without extra costs), so you could join long dives. If you really really really want a 10 litres bottle, they will give you one.
