Dear Sirs,
now, a couple of days after I left Coco D.C., Nha Trang, Viet Nam, I have a little distance to write u about what happened there at the end.
With Coco D.C. I had a agreement, that I will work ´if´ possible for a long term, so I planed to stay there for 6 months.
After 4 month they send me to another facility of Coco in Quy Nhong, to a 4 Star Spa Resort to open this store and give it the first push and exploring dive sites and so on.
So far was with Coco everything ok, I got my money in time, the have of the rent, ok the organization is not the best I have seen- give them a chance I thought ..., only when I ask them for the half of the Visa fees its stacked..., they, owner Minh Xuan & and manager Jean Pierre, told me all the time something like: ´if u stay longer then 6 month...´, I always told them, that this was not in the offer they made me in January, when I worked in Thailand and had to left cause of the Tsunami.
I said my self, no worries, I can proof it, they still had this mail in there own computer (Outlook !!!..., and there was nothing about ´6´ months!!!!
Finally, they called me in Quy Nhong, that they cannot extend my Visa, by the way at the day its expires, so much again to the organization, and I had to come back immediately. Said and done, I came with my hole stuff and they wondered..., I told them, that I planed, like agreed, to stop after 6 months, and it would make no sense know to extend the Visa for another 3 months, to stay only 1 more- make sense(they ask me to fly to Cambodia to do so)So they start to got mad, when they realized, that they have know not enough stuff anymore, u will believe it or not, in this 2 month of my absence 4!!!! Instructors left!!!! and a couple of ´local´ Divemasters!!!
So when it was time to make the final bill they start: they cut me salary for to many day offs, gave me no commission 4 the last 7 days of this month, and not the half of the Visa fees!!! Maybe all in all 100$, and all because they feel uncomfortable of there own created situation!!!!
It was not possible to explain them that I was right, I showed them there own mail- but still arguments, when I tell u it’s only laughable!!!
I will send a copy of this mail to PADI- Australia (already done), to warn the Pros to receive exactly details of their work and conditions...in any case, and do a copy of that. I never had problems with one of the PADI Centers I worked before, no, better, at the end they gave me small presents or just a thanks 4 the long term work...., fair enough, and kind of professionalism we deserve, and they expects from us!!!!
That’s a big problem, we NEVER know with who we r dealing exactly with, and we have no rights or possibilities at the end when the boss say´ No, u don’t get the money- go off ´!!!!
I feel u have to know this, sometimes they think they can do what they want- they can- but we can make it public!!!
And at the end they loose more than 100$
sunny greetings from Bangkok
