Staff is not great when asked about marine life, house reef or weather conditions. Either they don’t know or they are not motivated to tell the truth or share information when they cannot make money out of you. I had a wonderful stay at the resort but it is VERY apparent that this dive center is separate from the resort. Most senior staff does not greet guests and want to be left alone. „Do not talk to me“ approach even though they have a table and eat at the restaurant every day, so you will see them every time you go for breakfast or dinner. They cannot greet guests, let alone have a friendly word with divers about their experiences. It really irked me to spend money there during the day (nearly $200 for a 2 tank whale shark boat dive trip - not private - WTF!) and when you see them in the restaurant they pretend not knowing you. So, I stopped diving there after 2 days. It is not a fun diving experience at this dive center. The worst I had in my many years of diving all over the world! The dive center has many good reviews from years ago, however now there is no passion or enthusiasm left. Nitrox is not available either. Maybe it‘s time to change management! I heard the Manager calling one guest “stupid“ for no reason, not acceptable!

One plus is that the dive center is well organised, so if you are an experienced diver and go there with a dive buddy you might enjoy the dive sites as there are many good ones around, otherwise stay away! I would never come back diving by myself. This dive center truly takes the fun out of diving
