Apologies firstly for speaking in English, however my German is non existent. I have recentley finished 6 very entertaining, educational and rewarding weeks with Chris Koller and his team at Peponi Divers in Kenya.
Serving in the army and sick of being sent from one disaster zone to another, I had decided back in last March to make a change of career and become a diving instructor.
After e-mailing every PADI dive school in Kenya, I received only 2 replies, with PEPONI divers being the most forthcoming.
After some e-mailing and a couple of months later I found myself in Kenya, as an inexperienced Open Water diver. After 5 weeks of brilliant, progressive mentoring and tuition Sven (AOWD) & Chris (Rescue & Divemaster) took from an OWD to a DM. Along the way there was a lot of hard work a few tears (Chris!!), dodgy times and a lot of laughs.
I just want give a big thank you to Chris and all his team for a memorable experience, being patient and passing on all your knowledge.
