The dive base can be found, after a walk down steep stairs, to the right of Isola Bella just past the Beach Restaurant. A professionally managed base with very friendly Instructor(Andy)and Dive guide(Nino). I took all my own diving gear with me but it´s possible to hire all the equipment there. As I took all my own equipment I found the prices very very reasonable. After all the normal formalities with the paperwork it was time to dive.
Diving started at 10:00 and a second dive at around 13:30. Your equipment, when ready, is then put into the small Zodiac with the help from the staff. After 2-5 mins, depending on the dive spot, you dive from the boat. We dived arounnd 45-60 mins. All divers are equipped with 15L Steel Tanks.
The dive spots around Isola Bella are very interesting with all kinds of underwater fauna and creatures (Nudibranch, Scorpionfish, Octopus etc.)
There are also alot of Canyons, Caves and Grottos to be explored.
All in all a great place in the Mediterranean to dive with experienced Staff. Was great fun with them all to dive. Good luck to Clemant with your Dive Master. Hope to see you again some time.
