Was ist eigenlich ein cmas 1* delfin wert
Hallo
Thanks for your mail.
So i have now had everything clarified.
As his qualification is not he may dive with one of our guides to a max of 5m, with the standards in place from PADI and also the CDWS (Chamber of Diving and Watersports) and the National Park authority its not possible for us to let him dive alone without professional supervision, this would not be possible until he is 12 years old regardless of the certification held (PADI or CMAS etc.)
It is possible though as he is 10 that he may complete a PADI course if you would like that, this would enable him to dive actually to 12 meters, but anyway always with the supervisions form one of our guides.
The courses he could take if you wanted are the Discover Scuba Diving, this is more of an experience program, so actually would not really help you for anything the future, as it is just an experience program and does not relate to any standard worldwide or international level, it allows for him to dive for the folowing year with any PADI centre, but always under supervision.
The PADI Scuba DIver course takes 2 days, 1 days pool/theory and another for 2 dives, this allows to dive to max 12 meters, but always supervised by a professional, however its a certification and it can be upgraded to Open Water diver any time in the future (he will complete 3 from 5 of the pool and theory lessons form the Open Water and 2 from 4 of the dives)
The PADI Open Water course takes 4 days, 2 days theory/pool and 2 days for the 4 Open Water dives, this gives him the PADI Open Water certification which is usually to 12 meters, however until he is 12 years he is restricted to 12 meters, but he does not need to do any additional training or so to have the 18 meters, its just by age, as he will actually complete everythign in the course the same way that adults do.
Here is the link to the price list so you may see the costs of the different courses:
