BeschreibungThe Jump/Gap Reel is used to make a connection between two permanent guidelines in a cave or to jump from the main line to offshoot lines. It comes with 50-feet of durable braided #24 line and a medium stainless bolt snap. The "no handle" design makes it easy to carry multiple reels for complex dive planning where multiple line gapping is required. The Jump/Gap Reel is ideal for use in high flow cave systems where it can be paid in/out very quickly versus plain spools. The reel spool is held in place with a stainless steel "C" clip so replacing the spool or cleaning up a jammed reel is simple.Pathfinder Reel

The genesis of the Primary Reel began in 1984 when North Florida cave divers needed a reel with 400-feet of line in order to reach the main line in the Devil"s cave system at Ginnie Springs. Voila! The Dive Rite Primary Reel was born. Today, divers may choose between our Primary Cave Reel (RE4300) that has 400-feet of braided #24 line and a medium stainless steel bolt snap or our Primary Wreck Reel (RE4310) that has 250-feet of heavier #36 braid line and an extra large stainless bolt snap. Both are available with an optional drag to supply tension when paying out the line quickly, such as shooting a lift bag, which helps avoid warping the reel. These reels position the handle on top, which helps divers who use a handheld light to hold both the light and the reel in one hand, freeing the other hand to work the reel. The frame of the Primary Reel comes with a series of pre-drilled holes so divers can change the handle position from a top-mount handle, to a side-mount handle or a left-hand operated reel. The spool is held in place with a stainless steel "C" clip so replacing the spool or cleaning up a jammed reel is simple. The Cavern/Safety Reel came about as North Florida cave training agencies began establishing standards in cave training. The established standard for cavern divers was to limit penetration no farther than 130 linear feet from daylight. Experienced cave divers use the Cavern/Safety reel as a jump reel or as a back up for security. Wreck divers will use this reel for shooting lift bags. The Cavern/Safety Reel is available with 140-feet of #24 line (RE4100) or 90-feet of heavier #36 line (RE4110), both with a medium stainless bolt snap. An optional drag is available to supply tension when paying out the line quickly, such as shooting a lift bag, which helps to avoid warping the reel. These reels position the handle on top, which helps divers who use a handheld light to hold both the light and the reel in one hand, freeing the other hand to work the reel.
