Wainilu is a world class muck dive site! At first this dive site doesn't seem to offer anything. We decent in just 5 meters of water without much current, with a gentle sandy slope with hardly any coral. But as you get closer to the bottom, let your eyes adjust and start searching in the sand. You might find ghost pipefish, juvenile squid, flamboyant cuttlefish, flying gurnards, and if you're lucky even the elusive Rhinopias (weedy scorpionfish).
This site can be dived during the day or night.
