Identification of new wreck - Raumboot

Recently I found in Baltic Sea, off Scholpin, a wreck that in my opinion can be remain of R227 lost during 2 WW.
From wreck I picked up an object with some german inscription - a kind of electrical part, isolator?

Wreck is in very bad condition, uncompleted, badly destroyed, and all covered with fishing nets. It`s hard to say what part of ship it is exactly. It is approx. 20 - 30m long, quite narrow, and there is quite a lot of aluminium parts - frames, ribs, plates, etc.
I think it can be ramain of Raumboot 227 - lost on 18.03.1945 - ``Nähe Stolpebank zwischen Scholpin und Rixhöft durch sowjetische Fliegerangriff und Artillerie am 18.03.1945 versenkt.``
I`m gonna do some more dives on this wreck if weather allows.

Hey offshore,

that´s nice to hear and interesting. But I do not like to see you taking remains from the wreck that are unnecessary for the identification.
Please re-think your strategy and keep us informed on your varifications.

You shouldn`t worry.I took only one small object with inscription for identicication.

Next movie:
hold the camera steady and take a wide angle lens and more more more light. Film not so close.
Study the construction of the boat. You can find enough in the www or in specialized books and compare peculiarities, for example the arming

This type plate is not sufficient for identification of the boat. It`s a plate for "accessories", but nothing specialized for this boat-type. I have researched it.

Hi offshore,

In the video there is visible cave line, dividing the wreck into sections. You are not the first investigators.
Maybe you should listen around regarding ongoing wreck investigations in that region. Maybe you can join, maybe they like your remain, maybe this helps avoiding some legal troubles.

After further investigation, removing of fishing nets etc. I discovered that this are remains of german airplane .This spring I want to find some part for final identification what type of plane is it,serial numbers etc. Additionally in the area I found remains of R 177, wreck lies upside down on shallow water, only 300meters from the position stated in KTB. Wanna do some more searches on this wreck on the spring time.

Regarding the cave line : it is mine, I attached it to the wreck before diver with camera came down.
