Many first-time divers, positive feedback, and strong partners at the launch
This summer, a very special experience awaits you at the Rhein-Neckar-Zentrum (RNZ) in Viernheim: the RNZ Dive Hub. From June 6 to August 29, 2026, a roughly 6.5-meter-long diving container with three large glass sides will be transformed into a fascinating stage for the underwater world.
Visitors can watch exciting demonstrations, diving sports, photo shoots, and introductory dives live right through the windows—an experience that is otherwise only possible underwater.
The RNZ Dive Hub is organized and managed from June through August, Monday through Saturday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, by our team at Taucher.Net and many partners.
Opening on June 6
With its opening on Saturday, June 6, the RNZ Dive Hub got off to a successful start. Throughout the day, numerous visitors took advantage of the opportunity for introductory dives; many were young people experiencing scuba diving for the first time. Feedback from participants was consistently positive—both regarding the guidance in the water and the on-site organization.
The dive container provided an ideal setting for safely introducing beginners to the sport and giving interested individuals a glimpse of modern dive training. This kickoff demonstrates that the RNZ Dive Hub has the potential to develop into a permanent hub for promoting young talent in the sport of diving over the next 12 weeks.
A big thank you goes to the Rhein-Neckar-Zentrum Viernheim, our equipment sponsor MARES – just add water, L&W Compressors, and dynamicPOOL Weinheim. Without your support, projects like this wouldn’t be possible. Thank you very much!
