Garmin and the Blue Marlin Dive Center are starting the new (diving) season at the Fühlinger See from tomorrow until Sunday.
You can dive in the Fühlinger See, take part in the great treasure hunt powerd by Garmin and at the same time test all possible Garmin dive computers of the Descent™ series. That sounds like a perfect plan for the weekend. Moreover, the weather forecast for the weekend is also suitable for a diving trip to Fühlingen area.
Around Cologne, Lake Fühlingen is one of the largest local recreation areas. In addition to swimming, fishing and other water sports (including a regatta course), you can also dive there, but only in one of the lakes: Lake 5.
The lake has a maximum depth of about 15 meters and impresses with an enormous abundance of fish as well as beautiful flora. Near the bridge you can see big pike on every dive, as well as a lot of perch, eels and other animals. Diving from the well-fortified entrance (pontoon) along the shore on the left side, especially in the evening hours you are presented with a real fish soup for freshwater lakes, rumor has it with a catfish as the swimming highlight.
The visibility is extremely variable, from one to ten meters everything can be found - but overall you could rate the visibility as "good".

Join in - that's how it works:
- Register via the web registration center of the dive center
- Come by and take part in the treasure hunt for free (only the usual entrance fees and possible rental fees apply)
- Find one of the three prizes in the form of small cards using the BlueMarlin treasure map and redeem them at the dive center.

2nd prize: 2 places at BlueMarlin Dive Camp over Whitsun
3rd prize: 2 International Aquanautic Club Nitrox courses.
