Scuba diving the Raa Atoll
A beautiful turquoise lagoon, a small coral island and in the middle the newest Euro-Divers dive centre. Faarufushi offers its dive guests more than 20 mostly unexplored dive sites with fantastic walls, thilas and of course channel dives. Whatever the diver's heart desires; here you can find it on the twelfth site of Euro-Divers in the Maldives.
The big plus of Faarufushi is certainly the beautiful and stunning house reef. Here you will find an ideal place for snorkelers and divers to enjoy the wonderful underwater world of the Maldives - any time you want.
A private pier and a comfortable dive dhoni will please the dive guests. "Most of the dive sites can be reached within 10 to 50 minutes," explains Cornelia Gretener, dive centre manager of Euro-Divers Faarufushi. "What our guests will also enjoy: The reefs in Raa Atoll have a lot to offer - from huge swarms of tropical reef fish to beautiful soft corals to eagle rays, mantas and sharks. And as a PADI 5 Star dive centre we offer a full range of PADI courses for all levels and languages."
The water sports team offers further holiday activities - something to suit everyone's taste: From catamaran sailing, windsurfing, SUP, kayaking, wakeboarding to banana boat and jet ski. Experienced instructors are ready to teach vacationers how to sail a catamaran, go windsurfing, or enjoy an exciting wakeboard or water ski ride. Of course, with some experience, they can independently go on trips with "their favourite tool" and e.g. explore one of the pristine reefs around the holiday island.
Faarufushi Maldives Resort
The island is just 50 minutes distance from Male International Airport by seaplane but feels wonderfully far away from civilisation.
