Eudishow: Trade fair postponed
The corona virus is now also spreading in Italy and the consequences are already visible: after the cancellation of the Italian carnival in Venice and the isolation of smaller infection centers in Veneto in northern Italy, the traditional diving fair "Eudishow" - in Bologna the capital of central Italy region Emilia Romagna region, - is canceled for now and postponed to probably November this year.
The trade fair for end consumers and retailers is the traditional event highlight of the diving industry in Italy. It was scheduled to take place in Bologna this weekend from Friday to Sunday and, like many other public events such as concerts, soccer games and markets, has now been canceled due to the Covid-19 outbreak. This is now the second dive show which has been postponed due to the novel coronavirus. One week ago the Organising Committe of ADEX in Singapore announced that the fair is postponed until End of May (original run time Apr 17th until Apr 19th 2020).
On the website of the Bologna fair there is only a brief reference to the decision to postpone the fair to November 2020 without any further details. It also says that more information will soon be available for exhibitors and interested visitors. (Hap)
